Our booking assistant will guide you through the booking process in three easy steps: First you enter your travel and personal data and select the desired payment method. With a click on "Next" you get to the overview. Please check your booking data and read the travel conditions. You declare the acceptance of these travel conditions by sending the booking. Finally, click on "Book liable to pay" and you will then receive confirmation that your booking order has been received. Booking with e-domizil is so easy and convenient!
As soon as your booking has been registered with us in the system, you will receive a booking order confirmation by e-mail. Please always check the Unknown or Spam folder in your email inbox. If you have not received a confirmation of receipt, please contact us by telephone.
Immediately after booking you will receive an order confirmation from us by e-mail. If the booking is unconditional and without inquiry status, you will usually receive a binding booking confirmation from the tour operator by e-mail shortly afterwards.
If a binding enquiry has to be made due to a booking condition or the status of the property "on request", you will first receive an order confirmation and usually within 2-3 working days the binding confirmation, provided that the landlord agrees. Should the landlord cancel, we will of course send you alternatives.
The payment is, if it is not a short-term booking, divided into deposit and balance payment, which are due on different dates. In the case of short-term bookings (last minute), i.e. bookings less than 4 weeks before the start of the tour, the entire tour price is due immediately.
After receipt of the complete payment you will receive your travel documents approx. 3-4 weeks before departure:
A down payment of the travel price (deducted from the total travel price) is payable on conclusion of the contract. The payment (down payment, final payment) can be effected by bank transfer, by automatic debit transfer (only for travelers with a bank account in Germany) or credit card, depending on the property. The possible methods of payment will be displayed during the booking. The remainder is normally due 4 weeks prior to the start of the holiday.
In the case of last-minute bookings, i.e. less than 6 weeks prior to departure, the entire travel amount is due immediately. Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card. You will receive your travel documents immediately after receipt of the payment by bank transfer or collection of the travel price from your credit card.
True to the motto "You book and pack the bags, we take care of the rest," the e-domizil service fee serves on the one hand to cover the costs of the service and consulting provided, but also to continuously expand a qualitatively assured offer as well as the operation and further development of our booking platform:
Your data will be transmitted via encrypted connections Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure, HTTPS for short, and treated absolutely confidentially. Even if you give us your data by telephone, we use these encrypted connections.
Note: For your own security, please do not send us any payment information by e-mail.
You will receive the confirmation of receipt as well as the booking confirmation and travel documents by e-mail, so that we cannot do without them.
Alternatively, you are welcome to provide the e-mail address of a family member, friend or acquaintance, provided he or she agrees and gives you access to the documents sent.
When making bookings, you have the option of choosing a travel cover.

Travel protection can be taken out either directly upon booking or retrospectively up to 30 days before the start of the journey. For short-term bookings, the insurance can only be ordered on the booking day or the following day. Insurance packages without cancellation protection, such as health and baggage insurance, can be booked at any time before departure.
The subsequent cancellation of a travel cancellation insurance is only possible if the booking was cancelled by the tour operator. Further information about our travel insurance can be found here.
Insured events
The insured reasons for withdrawal include unexpected serious illness, involuntary unemployment, taking up employment after unemployment, death in the family, etc. The insurance does not cover illnesses that have not occurred unexpectedly or deterioration of existing illnesses.
Youth groups are - depending on the tour operator - groups of persons under the age of 25. If you would like to book as a "youth group", this is unfortunately not possible directly online, as we always have to make binding enquiries about youth groups with the respective organiser/renter during the booking process. Please contact us by telephone. In addition, we require the declaration of consent of the parent or guardian of a minor (under 18 years of age).
Furthermore, it can also happen that an increased deposit (partly also per person) is due for youth groups depending on the object.
If you would like to book in a different way from the tender, e.g. with an overcrowding or several dogs, this must be requested bindingly before the booking. In this case, please contact us by telephone. The booking will only be confirmed if the landlord agrees to the condition.
A rebooking must always be requested. The rebooking to another date or another object of the same tour operator is possible in many cases for a fee. The rebooking to an object of another tour operator, on the other hand, is only possible with cancellation under the valid cancellation conditions and subsequent re-booking.
Short-term changes are not possible in most cases. Here only a cancellation to the valid cancellation conditions and a subsequent re-booking comes into question.
Please inform us in writing by e-mail of your request for a change of booking, stating the booking number.
A cancellation of the booking is possible at any time according to the cancellation conditions of the tour operator and must be made in writing by e-mail.
The shorter the cancellation period, the higher the fees. If parts of the tour price have already been paid (down payment / balance payment), the cancellation fees will be offset against these. Of course, you will also receive a cancellation invoice from the tour operator in such cases.
Please note that in the event of cancellation for an insured reason (illness, unemployment, etc.), the travel cancellation costs insurance covers the majority of the fees, provided that you have taken them out.
After the payment receipt of the complete travel price on our account you will receive your travel documents approx. 2 weeks before the start of the holiday. In case of last-minute bookings you receive your travel documents immediately. The travel documents contain a voucher, a route description and the address of the landlord. You have to pass the voucher to the landlord on your arrival on spot.

Above the search hits found, you can also select the criterion according to which the search result is to be sorted.

In the search hits as well as on object pages you have the possibility to "remember" objects. Please click on the heart in the picture of the accommodation.
In this way you can create a memo list which you can call up again at any time by clicking on "Memo" at the top right of the menu bar. There you will see the number of objects currently on your notepad. In this way you can compile your personal list of favourites and, of course, share them with other people (e.g. other travelers).
If you specify your desired travel period during the search, the system only displays the objects that are available for this period. You can view the availability in the calendar on the object page. The occupancy calendar is updated daily.
For many properties, the arrival and departure days are set to Saturday in the peak season. In the low season or with selected objects there is also the so-called "optional arrival".The arrival days are marked dark green in the calendar.
Most holiday houses and holiday flats have a minimum rent of 3 nights, in the high season even of one week. You can check this in the price and date request on the respective property page.
If you cannot travel a whole week, an earlier departure is of course available as an option (e.g. after 5 nights). Please note, however, that if you depart earlier, the price for the minimum rental period will still be charged!
We have to ask for a late arrival within the scope of a binding booking. Please contact us.

The holiday accommodations can be booked for a maximum of 4 weeks. In individual cases we will be happy to ask for a longer stay without obligation for you.
Many holiday homes can be optioned for you for 2-3 working days. This is possible until approx. 3 weeks before arrival. Please contact our service team by phone and we will make a reservation.
Unfortunately not. In order to save costs and keep the rental offers up to date, e-domizil only presents its rental properties in the internet. However, the detailed, quality information can be printed out from the internet without any problem. In order to print a detailed view, click the button "Print" displayed below the property pictures. The optimised print view now visible can be printed by clicking on "Print" under the "File" heading. If you want to print other pages, please click the printer symbol in your browser or click the right mouse button. Now, select the option "Print" on the newly opened menu.
The distances given in the object descriptions refer to the linear distance.
The position of the object can deviate from the displayed position and usually refers to the nearest centre of the location. The data shown on the maps are provided by Google Inc. The environment may look different in the meantime. For the topicality of the data no liability is taken over.
The exact address data of the objects will be sent with the travel documents approx. 2 weeks before the start of the journey.
Please note that we only arrange the properties and therefore do not have any address data for ourselves. For data protection reasons, we cannot find out these in advance.
The description of the property indicates which additional costs are already included in the rental price or can be booked as an option. Consumption costs such as electricity, water or heating are usually calculated according to consumption and determined on site using the meter readings.
Your holiday accommodation is usually equipped with sufficient crockery, pots, cutlery, simple cooking utensils and at least 2 hotplates. Special kitchen utensils such as salad spinner, mixer, coffee machine, egg boiler, microwave, oven are only available if it is listed in the object description.
Food, spices as well as toilet paper or cleaning agents do not belong to the basic equipment and must be brought along.
Bed linen, towels and tea towels must also be brought unless otherwise stated.
If bed linen and towels are available, this is deposited in the object description. In some cases there is a fee for the provision of bed linen and towels, which is also mentioned in the description of the property.
Of course you take over your object in a cleaned condition.
On departure, the holidaymaker is responsible for the final cleaning of the property.
With many accommodations the final cleaning is already contained in the price or is specified as obligatory additional expenses in the rent calculation.
In many places a so-called tourist tax or tourist tax/tourism tax is due.
If information on the amount of the tourist tax is available, it is indicated in the property description (without guarantee). In many cases, however, we do not have the exact amounts of the fees, as they vary according to location and season.
You can find out if your holiday residence has heating and/or air conditioning in the property description. Normally, we request that our rental property managers set the temperature in the rental unit at a comfortable level prior to handing over of key. If, for some reason, this is not possible, we ask for your understanding.
Whether you are only allowed to travel with one or even several pets is indicated in the description of the house as "pet allowed". The information "Pets allowed" usually refers to taking one (1) dog with you. If you can also travel with 2 or 3 dogs, this information is also given in the house description.
If you would like to bring other pets (e.g. a cat or a guinea pig), we will be happy to ask for this as part of the binding booking for you. The booking will of course only be confirmed if the landlord agrees to the booking conditions (taking another type of pet with you). Please contact our service team by phone for the booking. An online booking with several pets or animals other than dogs cannot be made.
Please note that there may be a fee for taking one pet with you. This is then also indicated in the object description.
You will find information on whether a television set is available and what type of connection it is in the object description. Even if satellite or cable connection is advertised, this is unfortunately no guarantee for German television programmes. If German television channels are available, this is in most cases written out separately in the description.
In the "object description" section you can find out if a house is equipped with a telephone connection. Nevertheless, we recommend that you take your mobile phone with you even if the house has a telephone. As a rule, mobile phones function throughout Europe. Keep in mind, however, that even the reception of international calls entails so-called "roaming" charges.
An Internet connection is indicated in the object description. You can also filter by so that only accommodation with Internet is displayed.
We will be happy to forward your wishes to the landlord/tour operator. Please note that these are not binding and cannot always be fulfilled.
The pool opening times are usually specified in the object description. The following guidelines apply:
Mediterranean countries: Beginning of June to mid-September
Central Europe: July and August
Please note that the opening hours of the pools also depend on the weather.
Babies, toddlers and children are also counted as travellers (unless otherwise stated in the property description).
From the detailed descriptions of our holiday properties you can see which sleeping accommodations and additional beds are available. Please contact our Service Centre to find out whether it is possible to provide a baby bed in individual cases.
If a surcharge is levied for additional occupancy, this will be noted separately.
For underwriting reasons, the property may only be occupied by the maximum number of persons shown. Exceptions can only be approved by the landlord. We will be happy to ask you about overcrowding as part of the binding booking. Of course, the booking only comes about if the over-occupancy is approved. Please contact us by telephone in case of overbooking. Please note that overcrowding in Croatia is not possible for legal reasons.
Because tap water often has a high calcium content and/or is mixed with chlorine, you should definitely use a de-calcification product when cleaning your dishes. Furthermore, please keep in mind that the water table in southern countries can be quite low in the summer. We ask for your understanding in the unlikely event of water rationing.
If you have already acquired a suitable mains adapter for the destination country prior to the start of your holiday, you can use the electronic equipment (razor, etc. ) that you have brought along. Because the electricity supply in southern countries often has a limited capacity, take care not to use too many of your household electronics at the same time. If a power cut does occur, please inform your local representative.
After you have effected your down payment, e-domizil will send you a trust letter together with your invoice. In case of bookings, in which e-domizil is acting as travel mediator, the respective tour operator will send you a trust letter, if he is obliged to do so by the legal guidelines of his country. The trust letter certifies that you are insured against the insolvency of the tour operator. Furthermore, you have the possibility to effect additional insurances. You will find further details on our homepage under the navigation button "travel shop" in the section "travel insurance".
Most holiday rental tenants arrive using their private cars. To ensure you find your residence more easily, you will receive a detailed route description with your travel documentation.
In order to ensure that the holiday rental tenants take care of and respect their home and its facilities, some rental property managers require a security deposit. e-domizil lets the rental property managers decide if they require a security deposit and if so, how much. This is to be delivered when handing over of the key on location. If the house is returned in a suitable condition at the end of your holiday, the full amount of the deposit will be returned (minus any possible additional utility costs or telephone charges). However, if the condition is unsatisfactory, the rental property manager has the right to withhold a portion of the deposit. You can find further information about the deposit amount in the property description or the terms and conditions of the respective tour operator.
You can usually enter your holiday home or flat on the day of your arrival after 16:00. You will be informed when and where you can pick up the key in your detailed travel documents. If you arrive late, please contact your local representative as soon as possible.
Please plan your departure in such a manner that you will be able to leave your holiday residence no later than 10:00. However, special check-out arrangements can be made through an agreement with the local representative.
With the travel documents you will receive your voucher from e-domizil. Please show this voucher to the local representative. The information on how to contact the local representative will be included in the travel documents. After you have handed the voucher to the respective partner, he will hand over the key and, if necessary, inform you of any special features.
Normally, the transfer from the airport to your holiday residence is not included in the price of the holiday. If such a service is offered by the rental property manager, this will be displayed.
We do everything to make your holiday as pleasant as possible. Nevertheless, in individual cases unforeseen problems may arise. In this case, please inform us immediately so that we can take remedial action within the scope of our obligations and possibilities. Typical regional spices lend a particularly interesting taste to meals. In southern countries, beverages are often served very cool. Give you and your body a little time to get accustomed to the new eating habits. Furthermore, keep in mind that alcohol has a stronger effect on the body at higher temperatures.
Life in southern countries often unfolds in the street during the cool evening hours. Therefore, we would like to emphasise that noise pollution can occur in some cases even if the holiday residence is described as being calm and quiet. We ask for your understanding.
In southern countries, refuse is usually picked up every morning for hygiene reasons. We ask you to be patient in case this leads to any short-term disturbances.
We recommend that you only drink tap water in southern countries after it has been boiled.

Therefore you have to click on "Landlord" on our navigation bar on our website. Afterwards you register at e-domizil as "New Landlord" and enter your data. If you click "New Property" you can fill in the details about your property in our online-form. If you have entered the adequate information and uploaded some picture files, the e-domizil team creates a high-quality and attractive Internet presence for free.
You as a property manager have the possibility to arrange and update your side yourself. Please note, that on legal grounds your inputs will only be displayed on the Internet after the release through the Property Owner Service.
The more detailed, precise and varied an object is presented, the more successfully it can be rented. Especially good pictures increase the chances of a booking.
In order to present your property in the best possible way, you should enter the following data in the online form:
- many impressing pictures of your house or apartment (interior and exterior view, ideally all rooms)
- a floor plan of your holiday home
- a detailed description in the text field
- a detailed description of the surrounding area (town and region)
- prices and availability for 1 year in advance
- a transparent listing of all additional costs incl. possible deposit. We recommend to have all additional costs calculated in advance via e-domizil or to include them.
- detailed information such as number of beds, room equipment, etc.
It is important to us that your property will be advertised quickly and accurately. After receipt of your detailed property information, it usually takes only a week until your rental offer is online.

Unfortunately, no! Otherwise we would need to constantly check every link in order to be certain that the reference is still current. As a result of the multitude of rental offers, we regret that this would entail high expenses.
e-domizil handles the entire financial process for you. You don't need to worry about a thing. Promptly one week prior to the beginning of the holiday, we will transfer the rent less the commission to you.
You will be immediately informed either via e-mail or fax of any possible cancellations. In particularly urgent cases we will contact you by telephone. In the case of a cancellation of a binding booking, you will get a compensation of up to 75% of the rental price. The actual sum depends upon when the cancellation was made and the length of time prior to the agreed start date of the reservation. Assuming, naturally, that in the meantime you haven't found another tenant to occupy your property for this date. Please contact us by email if you were not able to rent out your property again. In any case, e-domizil will make an effort to find a substitute tenant. Therefore, e-domizil takes on a large part of your risk.
e-domizil not only takes care of the entire booking process but also handles all questions. All you are required to do is hand over the key and pick it up again on the day of the tenant's departure.
You will receive a booking notice after every binding rental. This will inform you about the number of guests, the dates of the stay and any possible special requests. Via a link in this email you will confirm your approval.
Furthermore then you can personally check the current booking situation at any time via your landlord access.
You can easily change any information about your property via the navigation points "Landlord" on our web site. After you have registered yourself with your initials and password, our user-controlled input interface makes it extremely easy for you to carry out any changes you may wish.
